      Hi, all!

Just a quick note to report a BANK SWALLOW in with several others along
Bandy Canyon Road in San Pasqual Valley today. The bird was observed along the
stretch of BCR between Ysabel Creek Road and where the road makes a sharp left
by the Fenton Ranch, over the riparian area.

Other highlights include a CANYON WREN amongst the boulders (also along
Bandy Canyon, up the hill closer to Highland Valley Road), my first BELL'S VIREO
of the season by the gate across Ysabel Creek Road (the south side),
CALIFORNIA GNATS in a couple of places (along Bandy Canyon and also along the Highland
Valley Trail), lots of TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS at the dairy farm (also along
Bandy Canyon), and a COMMON GROUND DOVE along the San Pasqual Valley Trail
near the orange groves. Lost about a year of my life with the traffic...
