      Saturday was a fine day on Monterey Bay – sunny, low wind, moderate
      temp, moderate swell - in contrast to yesterday.

      Yesterday was the day for shearwater. Today was the day for storm-
      petrels. Five (5) species were seen: Ashy, Black, Wilson's, Fork-
      tailed and Least. A Sabine's Gull circled Fisherman's Wharf as we
      motored out of the harbor. Black-footed Albatross and S. Polar Skua
      again came close on multiple occasions. Tomorrow it's the Cordell
      Bank from Bodega Bay.
