      Hi Birders-

The Yellow-billed Cuckoo continued this morning (Sept 18th) at the eucalytus trees between the Bodega Marine Lab entrance and Owl Canyon, on West Shore Rd in Bodega Bay. Mike Parmeter refound the bird at 8 am and the bird sat in sun for over 40 minutes allowing excellent looks and photos to be taken. Then it flew up the hill and behind the trees.

It appears a lot the birds reported the last few days departed in the clear night but there were still some western migrants around. A Black and White Warbler was seen in the big eucalyptus in Owl Canyon itself along with American Redstart. A dark Merlin flew over Campbell Cove ealry in the am too.

There were many birders stilll out there when I left so maybe more will be found.
