      Hi birders!

Bill Smith just called from Staten Island where the Demoiselle Crane
was seen this morning, 5 November, at 8:30am. It was with a flock of
about 60 Lesser Sandhill Cranes, on the east side of Staten Island
Road just past the end of the pavement.

This was their third day looking for it. Evidently the bird has been
shy while the crowds from the Lodi Crane festival were there over the
      weekend.

Staten Island is private property. Please bird only from the roads.
