This morning in Ventura County (Oxnard Plain), the Chestnut-collared
Longspur was seen again in the last sod field on the left side on Los Posas
Road heading south from Hueneme Road. There was no sign of the McCown's
Longspur. On Casper Road and on the last sod field on the right side
heading south from Hueneme Road, a total of 3 Red-throated Pipits were
observed. Also seen was a Peregrine raking the sod fields and having a
pipit breakfast. A little diversity were 3 White Pelicans flying out over
the end of Arnold Road heading up the coast.
