      Hi, all!

      No time for a detailed trip report today, but did want to report that at
      least three LEWIS' WOODPECKERS are still hanging around Pamo Valley along with a
      GOLDEN EAGLE. For those who want to take their life in their hands, the little
      lagoon near the intersection of highway 78 and Old Pasqual Road was loaded
      with stuff today, including a flock of dowitchers, a couple of avocets, and
      several pretty ducks. Had White-tailed Kites at both "Hodges Forest" along the
      trail heading west from the freeway along West Bernardo Drive, and along the
      Mule Hill Trail where there were four birds.

        Hi, all!

        Birded Pamo Valley this morning with a swing by Ramona Pond on the way home;
        gorgeous as always but hadn't realized I had never really birded this area
        this time of year before, as I had several new species for the area. Most
        interesting was a WHITE-WINGED DOVE hanging out with some Mournings, and a rather
        late WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW. New birds for me included YELLOW WARBLER,
        YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, LAZULI BUNTING, and BLUE GROSBEAK. The Lewis' Woodpeckers appear
        to be gone.
