- Skipper Richard Ternullo called to report a GREATER SHEARWATER 10.1
nautical miles NW of Monterey at around noon today. The bird was last
seen heading NE towards Moss Landing. This is fifth record for this
common Atlantic ocean species in the Monterey Bay (4 in MTY and 1 in SCZ
There are still spaces available for next Sunday Oct.12.

Our focus will be on storm-petrels but we will bird in both SCZ and MTY
counties in search of that next rarity.
