      Birders,

Karen Gilbert just found a Red-faced Warbler in El Dorado Park in Long
Beach this morning (Tuesday, 10 June).

It is in the NW corner of the Nature Center. Enter the Nature Center and
cross the bridge; take the concrete wheelchair path.

At the west end of this concrete path you can cut through the vegetation on
a small trail to the NW corner of the nature center, along the west service
road. The bird was in eucalyptus, and singing sporadically.

The two previous county records are from the mountains in June, so this is
the first spring migrant and first lowland record for L. A. County.
