      A moderate number of hopeful birders made the long vigil
      today--Sunday--lasting in varying numbers from dawn until 4:30PM, waiting
      for the Bean-Goose at Unit 1, Salton Sea NWR, to appear. No joy. No sign of
      the two Gr. White-fronteds, either. Did they continue south in to Mexico??
      Actually, the numbers of Snow/Ross's Geese were only about 2/3 of what they
      were late yesterday afternoon when the Bean was found, so perhaps they just
      went elsewhere locally today? Only time will tell...

      BTW, opinions vary between those who believe this is a different bird than
      the one here in 2010-2011--and this one more likely a Tundra Bean--and
      those who are....."not sure".
