>Yesterday in the mid-morning, 9/28/13 after watching the YELLOW-GREEN VIREO (I may have seen two) at the Laguna Tams, Nick and I visited Marina Park. HERMIT WARBLER were fun to watch at the Laguna Tams as were WARBLING VIREO. It was a frenzy of activity. The BROWN BOOBY was still perched on its favorite channel marker. As we walked along the shoreline towards the booby, we were treated to a mixed flock of shorebirds allowing photography ops: WESTERN SANPIPER, 2 DUNLIN, RUDDY TURNSTONE, BLACK TURNSTONE, BLACK OYSTERCATCHER, WHIMBREL, SURFBIRD, BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER, MARBLED GODWIT, and I spotted FORSTER'S TERN and there were gobs of ELEGANT TERN. It was a very enjoyable visit to the area.--
