      Hi all,

Members of the Central Valley Bird Club, U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Service, Point Reyes Bird Observatory, and The Nature Conservancy are
teaming up for what is expected to an outstanding day of birding and
educational opportunities on the beautiful upper Sacramento River.
The all day outing will be held on Saturday June 29th and will begin
near the intersection of Sacramento Avenue and River Road (the Indian
Fisheries Day Use Area, just west of Chico). We are in the process
of finalizing the agenda (see below) but wanted to give everybody a
chance to mark the event on their calendars. Please feel free to
contact me should you have any questions regarding the outing.

      Hope to see you there,
      Leo Edson
