Both birds continued this morning, Sat, Jan 12. The Winter Wren was seen along Hwy 128 across from Positas Rd in Yolo County from 8:00 to 10:40am, intermittently. It called occasionally - noticeably different than Pacific Wren. Just upstream about a quarter mile were 32 Hooded Mergansers and two Barrow's Goldeneye among many Common Mergansers and Buffleheads. Later in Cordelia Junction, Solano County, the Harris Sparrow was seen with White- and Golden-crowned Sparrows feeding on the sidewalk along the northish side of Business Center Dr between Green Valley Rd and Neitzel Rd.
