Phil Unitt, Curator of Birds and Mammals at the San Diego Natural History
Museum, was featured on San Diego's public radio station KPBS.

Audio and video files (go for the video!) and a text story featuring his
curatorial work at the museum (and the value of museum collections in
general) are available at the following link:

Phil also edits Western Birds, the journal of the Western Field
Ornithologists, and is the author of the exemplary tome The San Diego
County Bird Atlas, a "must-have" for anyone interested in bird status and
      distribution in western North America.
