i had to smack the whole side of the ball joint casing once with a 15 pound sled hammer to get it to split, took me nearly all day....I had pecks like popeye

Try a new fuel filter in the fuel filter housing...be about £6 to £8 for a filter and new gasket that comes with it, after that you got to start looking at

Pretty easy job yes...your only problem could be a stuck ball joint in its socket and you need a tool to pry it out...that is if the hammer alone does not

the 1.6 does not have lp fuel pump even the plug is wired for one and lot of times a new fuel filter will cure the problem Best regards Willie ... From: Colin

Also note that under the fuel filter cap/top is a metal disc and this is a fuel sensor that maps into the system and that bugger causes a lot of false readings

The pump is where it all starts from the get go, have problem with your pump and you will get faults in the HP and LP. Have you tried the Citroen forums for
