      Greetings All;

      I have upgraded the subject item on my blog (http://RomanStudies.blogspot.com
      -- June 2, 2012,) for a better understanding of the picture. The
      reference for the new material is:

      --Lionel Casson, "The Ancient Mariners, Seafarers and Sea Fighters of
      the Mediterranean in Ancient Times," 2nd Edition, Princeton Univ.
      Press, Princeton, New Jersey. Plate #52

      The purpose of the upgrade was to better understand what the Latin
      words (labels) on the plate said and meant. Plate 52 is a wall
      painting which was found at Ostia, and is now in the Vatican Museum
      (second or third century, AD. Photo by Anderson.

      Respectfully;

      Marcus Audens
