BuddipoleLIVE, or 'BPLIVE' for short, is a list whose ONLY
purpose is to post announcements of your pending Buddipole
operations and to spot ongoing operations when you hear them
      or work them.

IT IS NOT A GENERAL DISCUSSION LIST.

If you need help with your antenna, etc. post a question to
the regular Buddipole User Group. DO NOT POST IT HERE NO
MATTER HOW BADLY YOU NEED HELP OR HOW SPECIAL YOU THINK YOUR
SPECIFIC SITUATION MAY BE. Your message will be deleted. You
will in all likelihood be booted off the list. We don't do
this to be mean. We do it so that when members receive a
BuddipoleLIVE message in their inbox they know it will only
pertain to current or pending on-air operations.

      The rules...

      DO's

      - DO... Give your Amateur Radio Call Sign on every post you make.

      - DO... ALWAYS post operating times for your BPLIVE
operation in UTC. We don't all live where you are going to be.

      - DO... Post a 'spot' if you hear the BPLIVE operation.
ALWAYS include the UTC time when you heard them. Their
operating frequency and YOUR general location.

      DON'Ts

      - DON'T... EVER post a message saying you could NOT hear
      a BPLIVE station.

      - DON'T... post a message asking if anyone else has heard
them. If no one has posted they either haven't heard them,
are working them, or just don't care to post.

      - DON'T... post multiple spots from roughly the same
location. If someone from your town has already spotted
them you posting a second spot five minutes later for the
same frequency doesn't add much useful information.

      Sample BPLIVE announcement:

Who: Your call sign or club call sign

      When: April 1, 2012, 00:00 - 08:00 UTC

Where: Town, State, tourist location, mountain or
trail name, SOTA #, IOTA #, etc.

      Frequencies: 14.060 +/- CW Only

Info: Any special reason why you'll be there that
might be interesting. Special QSL available,
      'how to' QSL, etc.
