      Since I'm not entirely sure who's doing what, but I think you are on the list.
       
      Cait has the soup pots, which I need at least one of for the Friday soup, but suggested I check that you weren't planning to use them on Friday too. Cos a soup pot clash could be bad.
       
      I have not turned up much that's interesting in the way of period recipes, there's the saffron leek and onion soup in the Medieval Cookbook, but that's about it, and the saffron will make it expensive, I'm guessing. So I was going to go with vegetarian scotch broth or a variant thereof.
       
      Of course, if anyone has a period mixed vegetable soup with a bit of stodge in it, I'm all ears, but I was working more on the principle that people will want something warm and filling rather than super period.
