Group Description

Brigade de Lévis
{First to form and last to leave}
Les Troupes de Lévis à Sainte Foy,
Milice du Fort Ouiatenon et
Milice du Terre du Dunne.
Raison d’etre
We are a converged brigade of living historians {re-enactors} portraying military, civilian and Woodland Indian cultures of the Seven Years’ War era of French colonial North America called The French and Indian War of 1754-1760. Our organization models itself after the French Army commanded by Brigadier Lévis at the successful April 1760 battle of Ste. Foy; the 2nd Battle for Québec. We seek new members (individuals, families and existing units) to join one of these sub-units: Regiment de la Reine (Queens), Regiment de Royal Roussillon, Compagnies franches de la Marine, Canadian Militia, Artillery, Civilians and Woodland Indians. {New members wearing uniforms of different units are welcome.} We are well drilled, well dressed, busy at events, friendly, helpful and family oriented. Members will benefit most if they reside in IN, IL, WI, MI, KS, KY,WV and IA {and possibly adjacent states/provinces}.
