      Hello All!

I am inclined to agree with John Cardinal and Jim Byram on the negative aspects of meeting at NEHGS, but feel the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages, (at least for me!). Having grown up in Boston, and experienced some of her “better days”, I have presently developed a sort of love/hate relationship with the city, which, I guess, has nothing to do with Boston TUG.

In my view, NEGHS offers an ideal place in which to meet, with particular emphasis on handling our (hopefully) growth issues. Saturday afternoon would be especially convenient for me. I have no issue with fees charged.

Having spent my first 2 years with TMG “cleaning” data imported from Family Tree Legends, I am now close to completion and ready to move on to more advanced features. Ed Feustel listed a few that would be quite acceptable for starters. I think everyone would benefit in the sharing of ideas and techniques.

Whichever way the group decides is fine with me, with one caveat: I expect to have kidney stone surgery within two weeks, unless, of course I “pass” it along before then <G>, and would not be available for a short (hopefully) period. In addition, I will be away from May 10th to the 20th. I am otherwise available just about anytime.

      Regards,
