New Endorsers & Next Coalition meeting to STOP the ICE RAIDS!!
I hope you are all doing well. After a VERY successful meeting yesterday, the Southern California Immigration Coalition continues to grow and continues to build unity with other organizations and unions in Southern California! We now have confirmed delegations coming from San Diego, Oxnard, San Bernardino, Pomona, Long Beach, El Monte and many other places! The work is really picking up now so it looks like we are going to have a strong action on March 28th and a powerful organizing conference on April 11th!
I am also writing so that we can get an updated list of the newest organizations to endorse the March 28th/May Day march as well as the April 11th Conference. If your organization would like to endorse, please contact us ASAP!
If there are any organizations who have endorsed the actions/conference that and are not listed on the last fliers that went out, please send an email to immigrationcoalition@...
The next Southern California Immigration Coalition general meeting will be on March 22, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Centro Cultural Francisco Villa (2100 Maple Ave. LA, CA 90011)
Lastly, please continue printing out the fliers and keep spreading them in every barrio, in ever school, in every factory, in every church...etc. Only the people can organize themselves to STOP the ICE Raids and to get Full Legalization for ALL!
If you are not yet part of the SCIC, JOIN US at the next meeting!!! Venceremos!!!
