Subject: Border Patrol Raids - Meeting February 16
The Immigration Summit held on February 11 at the Riverside Convention Center was a great success.
It produced,1. not only a forum for discussing the issue of immigration2. and the urgency it holds for our community,3. but also produced a plan of action that will be carried out beginning this month.A more comprehensive report will be sent to you later this week.
Thursday, February 16 at 6:30PM at Zacatecas Restaurant on University Avenue in Riverside there is a meeting being called to deal with the raids being carried out by the Border Patrol. They are hitting sites such as outdoor swap meets.
It is imperative that we respond in an organized efficient manner.
Our people are depending on us.
Please attend! Please invite others!
