I am happy to announce to you early this afternoon (Monday February
21), during the 3-days second United for Peace &
Justice Assembly (UFPJ) on St. Louis, MO, I was appointed to serve the UFPJ
In addition, our proposal "Iraq Community Education Campaign--Link
Global to Local Issues"

similar proposal from Global Exchange/Institute of Policy Studies
approved and endorsed by the assembly as one of the future UFPJ
As you know UFPJ [web: http://www.unitedforpeace.org] is the biggest peace and justice group in the United States, I
am honor to represent Immigrant Solidarity Network (US-Mexico Border Action is
part of our network) and Peace No War Network to serve UFPJ CC for the
next 18 months.
I will promises to bring more immigrant rights, labor, community
issues, youth activism to the national peace and justice movements.
I am looking forward to hear from you--what you are expect from us
to the UFPJ and the broad peace & justice movements, and good suggestions
and more important of all--your supports!
