the exploitation of low-wage workers by supporting the national movement to
reform immigration, civil rights and labor law; supporting the rights of
immigrant and African-American workers to organize; and researching,

connections between workers rights, immigrant rights and civil rights.

Under the supervision of an EBASE Co-Director, the Organizer will be

      * Coordinating local participation in local and national campaigns to
improve conditions for immigrant and African-American workers, including
      mobilization, advocacy and grassroots lobbying.
      * Educating key constituencies on workplace immigrant and civil rights
issues, including summarizing policy issues and developing popular education
