      To: Donna Staggs <kundalini@...>

      Dear Donna Staggs,

      Speak out for immigrant workers!

This week, nearly 1,000 immigrant workers are riding buses
across America to bring attention to the plight of immigrant
workers. The journey of the Immigrant Workers Freedom Riders
brings them to Washington, D.C., on Oct. 2, where they will
educate our elected representatives about the needs of immigrant
workers, including immigration law reform. When immigrant
workers are denied workplace and other rights and only get paid
low wages and no benefits, this lowers the standard of living
      for all workers.

Join this important cause by adding your voice to the call for
the four priorities of the Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride: to
create a road to citizenship for all immigrant workers in this
country; the right of all immigrant workers to reunite with
their families; protect immigrants' rights in the workplace; and
ensure civil liberties and due process for immigrants.

Join the National Call-In Day for the Rights of Immigrants.

Call the White House toll free at 1-800-321-8268.

      Call Congress at 1-888-355-3588.

Tell President Bush and your members of Congress to support the
rights of immigrants. It is time for a clear road to citizenship
for all immigrant workers. Immigrant workers deserve the right
to reunify their families. And the workplace rights and civil
liberties of immigrants must be protected.
