Group Description

Welcome to San Francisco
Black and Brown Equitable
Drug Policies Collective !

It has taken a long overdue time for the Village,

* To give Voice to the Voiceless,

* To decriminalize for our local chronic users , non engaged in violent crimes ...

* To keep pushing without failing towards:

Ending the arrest and sentencing disparities between

Black, Brown and Poor crack cocaine users,
and vastly middle class, white powder cocaine users and dealers getting off on probation with Daddy's money..

We are also gravely concerned about the sweeping War on Drug in the poorest neighborhood of San Francisco, concentrated on districts targeted for land grab and gentrification through no-knock warrants by the "Gang intervention" and "drug task force" units pounding on poor neighborhoods of Color's doors,
invading sleeping alleys and terrorizing its residents and transients,
accelerating the Great Black and Brown REMOVAL...

while ,other affluent areas of our city, plagued with speed and designer drugs, are not disquieted, to avoid discouraging tourism,
and God forbid, impair their drug consumption that boost the city touristic economy, such as in the Upper Market, North Beach, the Piers , Castro, upper Fillmore, Nob Hill, St Francis etc,
where substance use tends to happen at private clubs and residences. behind golden doors...

We support the concept and wider implementation of Transformative vs Punitive Justice, regardless of age, class and race.
