Who are the Black Irish so named by those in the US with roots in Ireland? How is it that the J Haplotype can be traced back to the 18th Century in South Eastern Ireland? What is special about the ports in Dublin, County Cork, County Waterford, and other areas on the southern and eastern Ireland? What basis is there for theories about the 1588 Armada? What about the Iberian Celts? What about the Milesian Legend? What about the legend of the Founders of Ireland being of the line of Noah/Japhet/Javan? Are there peer reviewed periodicals in archeology, anthropology, biotechnology, population genetics that any of these legends/models predict a J Haplotype? A Cohen Haplotype? Offspring of Aaron? Offspring of Tara, Katrine, or Jasmine? This group will want people to deny any nationalistic or religious viewpoint IF it helps to form a model that predicts or at least supports the possibility of the model supported. So, anything you are willing to offer in the way of genetic markers, marker mutation rates, J, J1, J2, J2a1b, J2a1k, J2a x J2a1-bk, J2b haplogroups or haplotypes, Human Y-chromosome DNA, mitochondrial DNA (H3, J,J1b1,J2, perhaps K or T) will be appreciated in the hunt for the Ancestors of Ireland. Most of the focus is on the Y just because THIS founder only has a little knowledge and it is in that area.
