Unfortunetely, my dad got called into the hospital so I'm stuck waiting for hime to finish. Oh well... Anyway, this morning I had a shocking amount of good birds at my house. Townsend's, Yellow, Yellow-rumed, and Wilson's Warblers (Orange-crowned wasn't in its usual spot) were all present, as well as a Warbling Vireo, a male Cinnimon Teal, and a female Evening Grosbeak! I totaled up 54 species (with a possible Long-eared Owl; see earlier post) in 5 hours and 9 minutes of birding (from 3:00 am to 8:09 am). I'll be back there if anyone wants to see them, the Townsend's Warblers and Cinnimon Teal are on private property and the others were difficult to find, so I can help any would-be viewer. Being stuck here will make me lose 1+ hours of prime morning birding so I think I should only tally 110 species or less (to be honest, thats a complete guess anyways). A special note for Denny; two Avocets were on the cow pond as of 8:41 this morning.
