- The Great Egret is still at the same spot off Hwy 12/I82 that its been at since January. Also, here's a link to a photo of the White-throated Sparrow. Also should probably recount our McNary trip last Saturday.
We saw two Greater White-fronted Geese at the McNary HQ, a Western Gull at the Walla Walla River Delta among many Caspian Terns and a few American Avocets, a Lincoln's Sparrow at the Two Rivers Unit of McNary, around 300 American White Pelicans at Badger Island, a Pelican rookery, and ended off the day with my life Tricolored Blackbird at Fishhook Park on the Snake River. It was a successful trip, wielding about 70 species.
