Two of us walked the trail starting at 7 AM. Although the number of species was down from last week, there were plenty of birds to see, and we saw quite a few fledgling Goldfinches and young Yellow warblers. We were puzzled by the absence of any shorebirds this week, but pleased to find a Bald eagle perched by the river and two Orange-crowned warblers.

Next week we will return to 7:30 AM START TIME - come join us.
