      Hey all,

This morning, eight of us ventured out on the Poppoff Trail in search of
spring migrants. We had quite the walk and ended up tallying up a nice
list. The highlight for me was a huge flock of Vaux's Swifts flying all
around us at eye level. We also had some good looks at Wilson's and Yellow
Warblers and were able to ID a Dusky Flycatcher after quite a long
debate--it finally decided to make some noise. Hope to see you next
Thursday at 8:30am at the Greenway parking lot at the Union Gap exit.

        Hello everyone--

Seven of us found 41 species this morning on our weekly Poppoff Trail walk
which starts every Thursday at 7:30am. The highlight was a singing male
Lazuli Bunting which was giving quite the show for us. Along with the
bunting we also had a flyover Say's Phoebe which brought our species total
up to 87 birds for the year. Gray Catbirds seem to be everywhere and 5
might be a low number for them. Come join us next week!
