      Hi Yakkers,

There is a new feature on eBird called Hotspot Explorer. Kevin told John about it and John told me.

Hit the "Explore Data" tab on the eBird homepage. At the top of the list at the left side of the screen is Hotspot Explorer. In Hotspot Explorer you can enter the name of a hotspot (on the left) or a location, such as a city (on the right). When you enter a location, such as a city where you go traveling, you can see all of the hotspots around it. Click on a hotspot and there is a lot of data available. You can see all of the recent checklists submitted; you can view a bar chart that shows when birds have been seen through the year at that hotspot and much more.

It is actually easier to go through the Hotspot Explorer than it is to describe it.

It is really full of information.
