      Hi Yakkers,

I went to Wenas Lake and Rimrock Lake today to see what birds were there. The highlight of Wenas Lake was a female plumaged Canvasback, along with many other ducks. Two Horned Grebes that were molting into winter plumage, plus one Western were there.

At Rimrock Lake, 293 gulls were hanging out on the mudflats that included one adult Glaucous-winged Gull, one adult and two first-winter Thayer's Gull's and nine Herring Gulls (7 adults and two first winter).
