Group Description

If you like fantasy novels but don't especially care for the sword and sorcery variety, you will feel right at home in this group. We'll read and discuss such authors as George MacDonald, Michael Ende, Clifford Simak, Robert Heinlein, Piers Anthony, Neil Gaiman, Keith Donohue, Clive Barker, Lord Dunsany, C.S. Lewis, J.K. Rawling, Edwin A. Abbott, Graham Joyce, A.E. Van Vogt, Jack Williamson, Jack Vance, and many others. The novels we read will include those from the 19th century as well as modern ones. These novels will make you stop and think because they touch the subconscious mind. If you enjoy these kinds of books, you'll want to join this group.
