      Hello,

I have 5 large crape myrtles in my yard. The honeybees are all over
them. I cant seem to find anything in my beekeeping books about these
trees. Are they a pollen or nectar source, both? If they are a nectar
source and they flower all summer can the bees produce a surplus of
      honey from them?

      Thanks in advance,

      bob
