It certainly does sound like poisoning. If the bee had visited a flower/plant that had been sprayed she would be exposed to it. Barbara Lindberg London

      Subject: [Beekeeping] Poisoned Bee?

Last Saturday I was sitting on my front steps with my son. We saw a bee land on the wall next to us. The bee started to groom itself. It became more and more frantic in its grooming. It then started to writhe and twis and after about 10 minutes it died. I am wondering if this is a sign of it being poisoned? Any thoughts on this?

      Thanks,

      Mark
