      I agree the sunny location is best, as long as the bees have a source of water to bring to the hive for cooling, they will do fine. Paint your hives white to

        I agree the sunny location is best, as long as the bees have a source
        of water to bring to the hive for cooling, they will do fine.
        Paint your hives white to help reflect some of the heat and consider
        using screened bottom boards to promote air circulation.
