This list was created for diabetics and their families to share information on how to manage living with diabetes successfully. Weight management, medications, dosages, exercise, emotional issues, it's all to be discussed in an open and friendly way. There's a strict "no spam" policy! Please don't send commercially oriented messages selling products or jokes (unless they're about diabetics) or trivia (unless it's health related) or pictures of your grandkids, OK? But if you've lost weight, we want to hear how you did it. If you need to lose weight, tell us how you're going about it and we'll give you encouragement and our own insights. Are you able to eat several small meals a day to keep your sugar level and still lose weight? Is your sugar level higher in the morning than when you go to bed? Do you eat a lot of protein? Do you drink a lot of water? Do you use sugar substitutes such as Stevia? Do you find yourself feeling moody, cranky or weepy? Have you had a recent eye exam?
