The USATF has designed a course in Pole Vault Safety and Instruction. This is a three-hour course, with a short written take-home examination.
The course covers the following topics:
*Equipment Specifications and Rules *Basic Pole Vault Technique
*Teaching Progressions for the Pole Vault *Safety Considerations for Teaching the Vaults
*Common Pole Vaulting Misconceptions and Errors * Pole Choice and Standard Placement DIRECTIONS: From the south, east take Route 95 north to Route 216 west, cross over Route 29 then turn right at the first light the school is at the end of the drive on the left.
From the north & west take Route 95 south to 216 west, cross over Route 29 then turn right at the first light the school at the end of the drive on the left.
