***TARPTENT DOUBLE RAINBOW ULTRALIGHT SHELT
EDIT: you seem to be missing part of "shelter"
*** To set up the tent, you have to insert the one long pole that acts as the spine of the tent into the lengthwise sleeve,
EDIT: We keep everything in the first person, no "you"s, just "me" and "I". Here is my canned explanation.
"When you tighten the laces on the boots, you pull the shoestrings in an out and upward motion. Then you tie it with a double knot and you are ready to go down the trail."
This is a very common way to write, but in doing so we just said what "other people" would do, not our self. This is projecting our thoughts onto the reader. We do not know how other people tie their shoes. We keep away from "you" and "your" in our writing.
We are writing a review of "our" gear based on "our" experiences. So we need to keep it in the first person. Here is how it should look;
"When I tighten the laces on the boots, I pull the shoestrings in an out and upward motion. Then I tie it with a double knot and I'm ready to go down the trail."
*** I also purchased the optional clip-in breathable liner.
Comment: it would probably be of interest to the readers to know just what that is and what it does. (I had the single Rainbow.)
***All of the terrain I have backpacked in with the tent has been mountainous, with elevations in the Appalachians around 5000ft (1520m), and 9000ft (2740m)
EDIT: need spaces after all the numbers 5000 ft (1520 m), etc
*** The biggest issue I have with the tent is its 'hybrid bathtub floor.' While I haven't had any problems with the tent leaking itself, the hybrid floor is ineffective at blocking out splash.
Edit: It is the mesh sides that you have a problem with, not the floor. The high sides of the tent are the problem as the mesh is not protected. The updated Rainbow addresses this issue with lower sides if needed. You may want to look into it.
