        Hi Jacob?

I also use a Mac and Nvu (there are a few of us here). Do you know what the
'alt' tag is? It is for people who use a screen reader, or because of maybe
a slow connection, don't let their browser load images. The alt tag shows
in words what the picture is.

When you are inserting your picture in Nvu, it has a space for 'alternative
text'. That would be the spot to briefly describe your picture.

You may have already known/done this, and be having a different issue, but I
thought I'd start at the beginning. Post again if this doesn't work for
        you.

Thanks very much, that was what I needed - to change the alternative tag in NVU for each picture. Jacob
