      On Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 2:30pm - 4:00pm (EST), AIDS.gov is hosting a World AIDS Day Conference Call for Federal staff and grantees.  This call will provide a brief update on the state of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the U.S., along with a brief overview of the global epidemic.

       

       

       

      To participate, register here by November 15.

      Participants will have a chance to ask the following representatives about Federal HIV/AIDS programs: 

      • Dr. Howard Koh, HHS
      • Mr. Christopher Bates, Office of HIV/AIDS Policy
      • Ambassador Eric Goosby, PEPFAR
      • Dr. Kevin Fenton, CDC
      • Mr. David Vos, HUD
      • Dr. Deborah Parham Hopson, HRSA
      • Dr. Carl Dieffenbach, NIH/NIAID
      • Ms. Beverly Watts Davis, SAMHSA
      • Dr. Ronald Valdiserri, VA

      Capacity is limited to the first 3500 callers. If you have logistical questions about the call, please email contact@....
