Softtroopers.  I may have a spare tube arrangement.  I think I just took that out of the machine when I switched to a pid.  The bad part is I'm in the seattle area now and won't be back to fl for another 6 weeks or so. And that is where the tube resides.  If you are still in need, let me know and I'll dig thru my spare parts when I get down there...jack in burien  :-)

Sure enough!  As you can see, I was really persistent with the uploader.  At any rate, you can see the broken connection I'm talking about there.  My question was if anyone on this group had ever gone about soldering their broken/cracked copper tubes or had another way to fix something like this?  Copper bond didn't quite cut it.

Also, the rest of this machine is viewable in the folder Jon's Bunn, also me, under a yahoo ID I lost touch with a long time ago...

Your image<s> are up in the photos section.  If they are all duplicates of the same image, just delete all but one!

Gotcha-- thanks David.  Looks like this forum won't allow me to post photos in the album I've created either.  A little buggy to say the least.

I'll try again in the next couple of days.

softtroopers - I don't think this forum allows for inline photos in postings.  It's best to create an album in the photos tab, and upload your images there.  That way we can see your scenario!

Hey everyone, I'm enjoying my second go-round with my Es-1a but have run into a problem getting it operational.  The compression tip that connects the manometer to the boiler snapped off at some point.  Since this pipe is shared with the pressurestat I can't just cap it off to test the machine, so I'm at a stopping point here.  <p></p><div><br></div><div>Does anyone have some advice for me for soldering/otherwise repairing this part?</div><div><br></div><div>Sorry for the extremely dark phone pic, but it gets the point across.  </div><div><br></div><div>Thanks!</div><div>-Jon</div>
