      I've always had to crack open the line on the other side of the pump to get
      water moving when using a container. I generally loosen the line at the first T
      fitting after the pump. As soon as I get some water flowing there I tighten it
      back up and all is well until I suck a little air into the line by running the
      container too low (which I've only let happen once). Be careful running the
      pump dry or you'll ruin it... If you had line pressure going into the pump this
      may not be necessary.

      got my machine cleaned and back together, now i turn it on to fill the tank i
      put the water line in a 3 gallon container and it will not draw any water pump
      is on i can hear it. Any suggestions?
