No CC payments accepted? That doesn't compute if they're a reputable company. Do a check with the local BBB before giving them your money.

Apparently Larry Hudoff is away for a little while. The other employee came up with a part number but I am not super confident in his results. I like the idea of talking to someone who has has a personal reputation. The price was good though, $54.

He said I could run only one of the 'circuits' for 1200W on 110V. I said I wanted to measure the boiler to be sure. I'm glad I did, as from my measurements the boiler is only 6 1/2 to 6 5/8 inches deep, meaning there is a really good chance the new element would not quite have fit. Also, the element he suggested was $105 before shipping.

I called them today, and they weren't very helpful and wouldn't sell to me anyways, but they directed me to Vaneli's Coffee, who turned out to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Vanelis also carry espresso supplies including very reasonably priced milk pitchers:

Long story short, although I sent a number of measurements and pictures back and forth, the element I have just received is much too long, and possibly not bent enough to get around the HX.
