      Howdy David!
      The group/brewing pressure should be constant, especially with a
      rotary pump machine. The line to the gauge comes directly from the
      pump, with nothing in between to interfere with it. If your gauge has
      the wobblies, it's either the gauge or pump giving you problems.

      Use a group-mounted gauge to adjust the by-pass on he pump; something
