      Jess,

      It should go in the same place as CWID, DRIVELEVEL, etc.

      But having just checked the code, that will only work for the first attempt. It will be set back to 4 when the session is released. I’ll fix that for the next version

      John

      Thanks, John...

      Works fine added to any connect script.

      However, would prefer to put it in the bpqconfig, but cannot find a location in the winmor port info that works.  My winmor port config follows:

      PORT
       PORTNUM=5        ; Optional but sets port number if stated
       ID=HF WINMOR        ; Displayed by PORTS command
       TYPE=EXTERNAL        ; Port is RS232 Com
       PROTOCOL=WINMOR    ; TNC is used in KISS mode
       DLLNAME=WINMOR.DLL
       QUALITY=0        ; Quality factor applied to node broadcasts heard on

      CONFIG

      ; Default Winmor TNC port is 8500. Change as appropriate. Put TNC in a folder "Winmor" within BPQ32 directory.
      ; If using Windows 7 (or maybe Vista ), process is a bit different. Let me know.
      ADDR 127.0.0.1 8700 PATH C:\PROGRAM FILES\BPQ32\WINMOR\Winmor TNC.exe

      ; Customize rig control as needed. If operating on a fixed freq/manually delete the rig control lines.

      Any help as to where I would insert the MAXCONREQ 7 LINE???

      Jess,

      Neither a BPQ or WINMOR problem, but a configuration issue.

      The number of connect requests is controlled by the WINMOR TNC MAXCONREQ parameter. Values can be from 3 to 15, and it can be placed in either the WINMOR section of bpq32.cfg, or in the connect script.

      73,

      John

      Hi John...

      My "all is well" proclamation may have been premature.  After a fresh start of BPQ32, BPQMailchat and BPQTerminal, when commanded to start a mail forward via WINMOR TNC, 7 "con req" transmissions are made before quitting (ID transmission).  Subsequent mail forward starts result in only 4 "con req" transmissions before quitting with an ID.  System will only make 7 connect request transmissions the first time a connect is attempted after program restart.

      BPQ problem or WINMOR?

      Thanks in advance...
