      Hi All, We are now using a BPQ32 setup for our main BBS, XRouter32 as a front end for TCP/IP and WinFbb for two DOS Fbb users that are only using Telnet for their forwarding; Plus our WinPack users who do not like BPQ32 and will only use here – WinFbb. They state that BPQ32 has very few commands, compared to Fbb. So we have to run WinFbb. All three are running on one PC.

      WnFbb, XRouter32 and BPQ32 all work with no problems. The connection between BPQ32 & XRouter32 is flawless – we run a NetromUDP connection between them.

      However;

      The main problem is the connection between BPQ32 and WinFbb – When we use a Application command from BPQ32 [ie FBB] – we receive the following display "Sorry, Application Fbb is not running – Please try later".

      We run Com1: & Com2: from XRouter for APRS & 439.150/434.150Mhz packet 1200bps.

      A synopsis of our setup is as below – We are doing something incorrect. Can anybody please help:

        RE: [BPQ32] WinFbb SETUP with BPQ32

        Rod,

        By default the TFWIN/BPQDED32 interface uses Application 1.

        You can change this – see

        http://www.cantab.net/users/john.wiseman/Documents/BPQ-TF.htm, but be aware that this doc needs updating.

        If you are using Vista or WIN7, the registry key to update is HKEY_CURRENT_USER, not HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

        But a much simpler solution would be to make FBB use APPL1 – just change your BBSAPPL in BPQMailChat to 3

        and your applications to

        APPLICATION  3,BBS,,VK2DOT-0,DOTBBS,255

        APPLICATION  2,CHAT,,VK2DOT-11,DOTCHT,255

        APPLICATION  1,FBB,,VK2DOT-2,DOTFBB,255

        73,

        John
