      John,

      Thanks, I went back an revisited what I’d done and now it works.  The IC-718 is handicapped by not having a CAT (CI-V) PTT function.  My Final setup (Using virtual port 20, BPQ port 2 and COM3 for PTT is:

      bpqcfg.txt PORT Definitions:

      PORT

       PORTNUM=1                ; Optonal but sets port number if stated

       ID=LOOPBACK             ; Defines the Loopback port

       TYPE=INTERNAL                      ; Loopback is an internal type

       MAXFRAME=7              ; Max outstanding frames (1 thru 7)

       FRACK=5000                ; Level 2 timout in milliseconds

       RESPTIME=1000                       ; Level 2 delayed ack timer in milliseconds

       RETRIES=5                  ; Level 2 maximum retry value

       DIGIFLAG=1                 ; Digipeat: 0=OFF, 1=ALL, 255=UI Only

       UNPROTO=MAIL                       ; DEFAULT UNPROTO ADDR

      ENDPORT

      PORT

       PORTNUM=2                ; Optional but sets port number if stated

       ID=WINMOR Port 1       ; Displayed by PORTS command (Note: this is BPQ32 port #2, but WINMOR port #1)

       TYPE=EXTERNAL                     ; Calls an external module

       PROTOCOL=WINMOR  ; WINMOR protocol is used

       DLLNAME=WINMOR. dll ; Uses WINMOR.dll

       QUALITY=0                   ; Can't run NETROM on WINMOR Ports

      ENDPORT

      WINMORtoBPQ. cfg

      PORT 2 127.0.0.1 8500 PTT RTS

      Capture Intel(r) Integrated Audio-02

      Playback Intel(r) Integrated Audio-02

      CWID True

      DEBUGLOG False

      LOG False

      BW 1600

      DRIVELEVEL 100

      MODE AUTO

      ROBUST False

      SHOW True

      BUSYLOCK False

      RigControl.cfg:

      COM3 19200 PTTONLY

      RADIO PTTONLY 2

      I also made a batch file to start everything up.  It contains:

      start "1" /D"c:\program files\bpq32\ winmor tnc" "c:\program files\bpq32\ winmor tnc\winmor tnc.exe"

      start "2" /D"c:\program files\bpq32" "c:\program files\bpq32\ BPQHostModes. exe

      start "3" /D"C:\Program Files\HAM Airmail ICOM" "C:\Program Files\HAM Airmail ICOM\Airmail3. exe"

      Again, thanks for all this great software!

      73,

      Dale NJ7C/AAR9WI
