RE: [BPQ32] Re: BPQTerminal answering RF connects to WinFBB
- Not quite, no.The chat mode built into BPQTerminal is just a talk-to-sysop function, it is not a multiuser system. For that I use FastChat, which is a DOS program, but works fine with BPQ32 and Win2K and above. It can be downloaded from http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/digital/3/bpq/fastchat.zip. For info on running DOS apps with BPQ32, go to www.g8bpq.org.uk, and follow the links to Interface Emulations - BPQCODE(DOS/16bit).The BPQTerminal Chat mode must be application 2. This is a throwback to DOS BPQ, where entering just C, connected you to the console. Entering C on bpq32 should connect you to Application 2, but I've just tried it, and it doesnt work, so I need to look into that.73, John-----Original Message-----

Ah, so BPQ has a built-in application for "Chat".
Many people can simultaneously connect via RF and have a keyboard
chat? Sounds like a nice group Olivia/MT63 style chat. Sounds good.
How do I setup my bpqcfg.txt file for this application - which must
be application number two?
