      Greetings all,

I have did a lot of work on the install program and I also added the SlowTimer for John.

There are a few links to the version.

      Fresh install: http://kb8pmy.net/files/TermTCP/install

      Source File: http://kb8pmy.net/files/TermTCP/TermTCP.c

      Remade Debian: http://kb8pmy.net/files/TermTCP/bin/TermTCP

I also have a debug version.

      Thanks,

If this is the first time running it on the system. You need to run the install program. But you can also do this if you debian. sudo apt-get -y install

          sudo apt-get -y install build-essential libgtk2.0-dev beep

          That should fix the errors.

Hi,There is a bug in the source file TermTCP.c downloaded from the link below. The SlowTimer evaluation code was inserted *after* the "return TRUE;" statement in PollTimer(), so no keepalives are actually sent. Here's a patch that fixes it:*** TermTCP.c    2014-08-17 00:01:08.319716904 -0600--- TermTCP-fixed.c    2014-08-17 11:59:51.757581872 -0600****************** 640,646 ****          }      }  -     return TRUE;      if(!Connected)              return TRUE;  --- 640,645 ----****************** 654,659 ****--- 653,660 ----          SlowTimer=0;          SendMsg("\0",1);      }+ +     return TRUE;  }Works fine now. With Chat Mode enabled it's nice to be able to monitor the channel without timeouts.Bob NW8L
